OCX & VBX files to your computer using

-
Step 1: Load ExpressZip by double clicking
its icon on the desktop or from your startmenu.
-
Step 2: Click the "Open" button on
ExpressZip then browse to location you saved the zip to.
-
Step 3: Once the file is open, click
the box next to the DLL, OCX or VBX file.
-
Step 4: Click the "Extract" button on
ExpressZip.
-
Step 5: In the window that opens up,
select "Checked files/folders"
-
Step 6: Click the image that looks like
a folder and browse to the location where you would like to extract the file
to. Normally you should choose the same folder as the program requestion
the file. However, if that doesn't work, you will have to use the system
folder. Normally system folders are:
-
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
-
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
-
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP).
-
Step 7: The program should be working
now but if its not, you may need to restart your computer.
Problem Solving: If after restarting
your computer the program still doesn't work, repeat the steps above but
extract the file to your system folder instead of the program folder.
If the problem still occurs, you may try the
following:
-
Click Start and then click Run
-
In the box that appears type CMD and then press
Enter
-
On the black screen that comes up type:
"regsvr32 filename" and press Enter. Replace filename with
the name of the file you extracted.
